CORONAVIRUS INFORMATION (Updated 20/04/2020 @ 1000)
The safety and wellbeing of our staff and passengers is of utmost importance to BorderBus. Hopefully, the following information will answer some of your questions:
Is it safe to travel on public transport? Yes. The government has made it clear that passengers travelling on public transport and staff employed in carrying members of the public are at no more risk of catching Coronavirus than in any other public space.
What are you doing to protect passengers? Our buses are cleaned daily, inside and out, but in the current climate extra resources and attention are being deployed on the interiors, especially in 'high touch' areas such as handpoles and bell pushes.
Are you running the normal timetables? We plan to keep running ALL bus services for the foreseeable future, however there will be some minor changes to some of the timetables to reflect the dramatic drop in passenger numbers.
From Mon 30th March, we will be operating the following services:
521 - Normal Service
524 - Normal Service
